Border Policeman St.-Sgt. Binyamin Yakobovitch, 19, of Kiryat Ata

Nov 8, 2015 - Border Policeman St.-Sgt. Binyamin Yakobovitch, 19, of Kiryat Ata, critically wounded in a car-ramming attack at Halhoul junction on November 4, died of wounds on November 4th.

On November 4, three Border Policemen were wounded, one criticallly, in car-ramming attack at Halhoul junction on Highway 60, north of Hebron. The terrorist was shot and killed by security forces. Border Policeman St.-Sgt. Benjamin Yakubovich was critically wounded in the attack, suffering multisystem trauma. He was rushed to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem, where he succumbed to his wounds on November 8. His parents decided to donate his organs.

Yakubovich had been serving in the Border Police for a year and a half.

Border Policeman Benjamin Yakubovich will be buried in the Kiryat Ata military cemetery. He is survived by his parents, Stanislav and Simona, brother, and two sisters.
